Case studies

Vibroseis at Lesbos, Greece

In October 2024, the Seismic imaging and monitoring group provided the vibroseis source for 25 km 2D profiles for an evaluation of the potential for geothermal energy in the island of Lesbos.

Imaging the glaciotectonic complex at Møn, Denmark

In May 2025 we will do active and passive seismic acquisition at Møn, Denmark, to image the impressive glaciotectonic complex which raises up to 128 above sea level along the coast.

Research

The work offered by the Seismic imaging and monitoring group at GEUS is based on extensive scientific knowledge and innovation.
