Earthquake monitoring

Observation of both natural and induced earthquakes are important for many uses of the subsurface. Exploitation of geothermal energy and storage of CO2 both involve pumping gas or fluids into the subsurface, and close monitoring of induces micro earthquakes can wasrn of potential larger earthquakes as well as keeping track of spreading gas or fluids.

We offer:

  • Planning of monitoring networks
  • Noise evaluation
  • Data analysis for earthquakes
  • Real-time monitoring in special active periods
  • Interpretation of recorded events
