Our group has or has acces to a suite of equipment for innovative and environmentally-friendly seismic imaging and monitoring of the subsurface.

Vibroseis trucks

Two in-house mini-vibroseis trucks:

Landstreamer

DAS interrogators

Two in-house DAS interrogators:

Marine seismic acquisition

In-house equipment and in collaboration with Aarhus University:

  • 600 m solid state streamer Geometrics (6.25 m group spacing)
  • 550 m oil-filled streamer Geometrics (6.25 m group spacing)
  • Various G-guns, GI-guns, and sleeve guns ranging in volume from 40 to 4 x 520 cubic inches
  • Compressors (Hamworthy with a capacity of 10.000 L/min, and Bauer with 3000 L/min)
  • Ice-array for seismic acquisition in sea ice
  • Sonobuoy recording capability (5 WinRadios)
  • 24 short period ocean bottom seismometers (as consortium member of the national seismometer facility DanSeis)
  • 16 broad-band ocean bottom seismometers (as consortium member of the national seismometer facility DanSeis)
