OneGeology-Europe Awareness Seminar - 13th September, 16.30-18.00

The European Environment Agency (EEA) in cooperation with EuroGeoSurveys and the Geological
Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS) invites you to an awareness raising seminar on
OneGeology-Europe.

The OneGeology-Europe project has produced the first pan-European dynamic digital geological map
at 1:1,000,000 scale. Co-funded by the European Union, OneGeology-Europe provides access to harmonized
geological maps of Europe under a common licensing agreement, in line with the principles of
the EU INSPIRE Directive and of the Shared Environmental Information System (SEIS). The project has
addressed some of the most critical technical issues in the field of dissemination of digital spatial data
and is one of the first to test the implementation of INSPIRE protocols.
